Testing mode

Pro feature. Testing Mode lets you edit snippets privately while visitors continue to see the live version.

  1. Enable Testing Mode

    Turn on Testing Mode from the Grafucci Code admin header when you need a private editing window. Only administrators with manage_options see draft output.

  2. Update saves a draft

    Clicking Update saves changes to a private draft. The live snippet output does not change for visitors.

  3. Publish promotes to live

    Clicking Publish copies the draft to live content and turns Testing Mode off for that workflow.

Tip
  • Combine Testing Mode with a staging site for risky PHP work.
  • If you leave Testing Mode on, remember visitors still see the previous live version until you Publish.
