Pick your arrival
From the airport (AUS)
Rideshare or taxi, 15 to 20 minutes, $22 to $32. Tell the driver “East 6th and Attayac” and watch for the mural wall. We’re the brick building with the hummingbird by the door.
Bus, $1.25, about 45 minutes. Route 20 leaves the terminal every 15 minutes. Hop off at 7th and Pleasant Valley and walk six minutes north.
By bus or train
Intercity buses land downtown near 9th and Brazos: a 6-minute rideshare, or a 25-minute walk straight down 6th Street.
Amtrak’s Texas Eagle pulls into the station on Lamar, 10 minutes by car. The 3 bus from downtown gets you within a five-minute walk for $1.25.
By car
From I-35, take exit 234A onto 6th Street and head east, across the highway, into the murals. We’re on the right just past Chicon.
Parking: free on the side streets (Attayac, Chicon) and a two-spot guest lot behind the house, first come first served. During SXSW and ACL, park once and forget the car exists.

The East 6th strip starts at our corner. Downtown is 10 minutes west, Lady Bird Lake 15 minutes south.

The 4 and 17 buses stop within a block: $1.25 a ride, $2.50 for a day pass.

Bikes & scooters
A bike-share dock sits at 6th and Chicon. A pump, a patch kit, and a rack wait in the yard.

Late night
Rideshare home from downtown runs $8 to $14. Walk the strip in a group; it stays lit until the venues close.
