The calendar

Austin doesn’t sleep. Neither do we.

Every week at the house, plus the venues we actually send you to. The chalkboard by the front desk has the final word.

Every week at the house

Standing plans

Free for guests unless noted. Show up hungry, curious, or both.

Guests cooking breakfast tacos together

Sundays · 10am

Breakfast Taco Sunday

The kitchen crew makes migas and potato-egg tacos for the whole house. Five bucks in the jar if you can, recipes on the fridge if you want them.

Dropping the needle on a record

Tuesdays · 8pm

Vinyl Night

Bring a record from home or pull one from the crates — cumbia to krautrock. Play side A, tell the room why it matters. House rule: no skipping tracks.

Guests gathering on the roof deck

Thursdays · sundown

Roof Deck Movie Night

The projector comes out at dusk. Texas classics, tour documentaries, and whatever won the vote on the chalkboard. Popcorn until it’s gone.

Mural-covered wall on the East Side

Saturdays · 11am

Mural & Taco Walk

A staff member leads a slow loop through the East Side’s best walls, ending at a taco truck. Ninety minutes, four murals, two tacos. Bring cash and sunscreen.

Around the corner

Where we send you after dark

No partnerships, no kickbacks. These are the rooms our staff actually stand in.

The White Horse

Honky-tonk five minutes east — free dance lessons on weekends, cheap Lone Star, and a crowd that actually two-steps. Go on a Friday and let a stranger spin you.

Sahara Lounge

A former blues joint turned everything-joint: African nights, cumbia, soul Sundays. The most East Austin room in East Austin, ten minutes on foot.

Hotel Vegas & The Volstead

Two stages, one patio, back-to-back bands most nights. The epicenter of the East 6th strip — close enough that the walk home takes four minutes.

Cheer Up Charlies

Red River’s queer-run clubhouse — karaoke, dance parties, and touring acts on a stage wedged against a limestone wall. Fifteen minutes on foot, worth every one.

The chalkboard changes daily. The bed shouldn’t wait.

Book your nights, then let the week fill itself in.
