Work
Wood stove and kettle in the library

Take the whole lodge. Keep the whole harbor.

Fourteen rooms, twenty-eight guests, one fire going in the library. Weddings, reunions, and retreats.

One house, one guest list.

When you take the lodge, the lodge is yours: the library, the deck, the breakfast table, the lawn down to the seawall. No other guests, no shared hallways, no negotiating for the good chairs.

We host buyouts from November through April, and a few shoulder-season weekends in May and October. Summer belongs to individual travelers; the rest of the year can belong to you.

Small weddings and elopements

Ceremonies on the lawn above the seawall, dinner under a sailcloth tent, and the whole wedding party under one roof.

Retreats and residencies

Writers, naturalists, leadership offsites, yoga weeks. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the fog is famously good for concentration.

One named host

A keeper on call

Restaurant bookings, boat charters, the caterer who does the lobster bake properly, and the florist who knows what is in season.

The fine print, in plain English.

  • Buyouts start with a call or an email; we don’t book them online
  • Two-night minimum; three nights on holiday weekends
  • Amplified music ends at 9 p.m. The harbor carries sound, and we like our neighbors
  • Outside caterers welcome from our vetted list; the kitchen is ours to run
  • A 50% deposit holds the dates; the balance is due 30 days before arrival
Breakfast in bed: coffee, blueberries, and milk
