Athletics club signs three academy graduates before the August window
Sam Ori, Leah Cormier and Malik Jensen trained with the seniors through a wet spring. Sporting director Evan Moss wanted a dressing room that already knows the press and the city. Saturday at Wanderers Grounds, 2 p.m., tickets $12 at the Ahern gate.

Mooseheads camp opens Monday; exhibition Sept. 12
Training camp at the Forum. The QMJHL club has not named a captain. Last season\'s leading scorer is in an NHL camp. Exhibition against Moncton is Sept. 12. Tickets through the usual window. Colm will file from the first skate if the ice is in.

Harbour 10K files a waterfront loop for Oct. 4
Start at the ferry terminal, out past the Seaport, back along Lower Water. The 18-storey cap does not change the course. The construction fence still might. Race director asked parks for a written window on the pier. Parks said operationally, which is how exceptions die.

Hurricanes win 3-2 in Moncton; home at St. Mary\'s next
A late penalty. The university pitch at St. Mary\'s is the home ground this month while Wanderers is stacked. Athletics' Leah Cormier watched from the bench of a different club. Minutes against adults, she said in the spring. She has them now.

Parks will not reroute trucks onto Robie. Moss has the phone number saved as "Parks — ask twice." The Common reopening is good civic news and a scheduling headache. No written window. A loader in the lane means a late session.

Wednesday at Wanderers. Pauline Dube called the back three stubborn on purpose. Jensen organised. Ori sat with the seniors. The one-sheet program still lists the academy score. Keep it that way.

Homegrown deals are not a CPL raid, and that is the point
Moss did not raid another roster. He signed three players who already know the wind off the Common. Wanderers get first look if a CPL side calls. That clause is in the paper. The minutes are the test, not the press release.
